Straight ahead and to the left of you as you enter the main double doors of the SU building is your SU Bar & Venue.

What?

The Bar serves food from early morning until late evening and has live entertainment most nights, ensuring it is the main social hub on campus. Before and after lectures people reconvene, chill out and enjoy the entertainment! Prices are student friendly and a warm welcome will always await you from Dec, Conor and the entire team.

The Venue plays host to our large events during the year, such as the Freshers' and Summer Balls. The Venue is used often by Clubs and Societies and sound and lighting technicians are provided by the SU to assist with events.

When?

During Term: 9am-11.30pm (Monday to Thursday) and 9am-6pm (Friday)
Out of Term: Closed. Open June-July, 10am-3pm (Monday to Friday)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The MSU Bar and Venue operates on a Club Licence where registered students are members. You are required to carry your Student Card with you at all times to prove membership and it is mandatory to present it to access the Bar & Venue from 6pm. 

During term-time members may sign in guests (one guest per student) to events in the MSU Bar & Venue. Exceptions to this practice may apply at certain times.
